ABSTRACT
The talk will focus on the experiences that the historical theatre company Astragali Teatro, founded in 1981 in Lecce, has developed in recent years in the field of interference between theatre and technologies related to virtual and augmented reality, in particular through collaboration with the Virtual and Augmented Reality Laboratory team of the University of Salento. A collaboration that has led to the realisation of site-specific performances in naturalistic contexts in Italy, Romania, Greece, Poland and Spain within the framework of various international projects. An intense collaboration that has developed reflections and practices on issues such as the appearance of images, the relationship between AVR and the bodies of the performers on stage, environment and eco-sustainable solutions.
