XR Salento 2026 invites proposals for Thematic Sessions to be held during the conference.

Thematic sessions are intended as focused mini-workshops on specific topics, fostering opportunities for researchers working on similar challenges to connect, share ideas, and build collaborations.

Key requirements:

  • Minimum duration: 60 minutes
  • Paper presentations: maximum of 15 minutes each
  • Organizer responsibilities: the thematic session organizer is expected to attend the conference and chair the session
  • Registration requirement: at least four authors must register for each thematic session

All thematic session proposals will be evaluated by the conference chairs based on the quality, level of innovation, and relevance of the proposed topic.

If you are an author with a paper that fits one of the proposed Thematic Sessions, you may submit it by selecting your preferred session during submission. Please note that all submitted papers undergo the same peer-review process. Submission to a Thematic Session does not guarantee acceptance. If a paper is not accepted within the selected session, it may still be considered for inclusion in another part of the technical program.

To submit a paper for a thematic session, follow the standard submission instructions and remember to specify the intended session.

If you are interested in proposing a thematic session, please contact the general chairs by clicking the button below.
